Ben, preparing beds with the BCS (walk-behind tractor)
April

We use a BCS to prepare the permanet beds in the fields. Permanent beds alternate with permanent 'bio-strips' of beneficial weeds and grasses. A BCS does less damage to the soil and the life within the soil (compared to tractor plows and rototillers).  Permanent beds allow the soil life and soil structure to flourish, plus they have he ability to self-regulate in situations involving too-much or too-little moisture.
